In certain circumstances, an e-mail address on one domain must deliver to a different inbox than the same e-mail address on a different domain:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">info@<em>mydomain.com<\/em> must not deliver to the same inbox as info@<em>myotherdomain.com<\/em><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"solution\" >L\u00f6sung<\/h2>\n<p>Each user within the <a title=\"Anmeldung am Bedienfeld\" href=\"https:\/\/kb.okra.host\/de\/control-panel\/logging-into-the-control-panel\/\">Bedienfeld<\/a>\u00a0(<strong>Benutzer<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Manage Users<\/strong>) provides a location to which e-mail named via <strong>Mail<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Mailboxen verwalten<\/strong> can deliver. Via <strong>Benutzer<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Create\u00a0User<\/strong> to create a new, namespaced user<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Under <em>Username<\/em>, specify\u00a0<strong>myd.info<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Zugriff auf E-Mail\" href=\"https:\/\/kb.okra.host\/de\/e-mail\/accessing-e-mail\/\">E-mail login<\/a> will be myd.info@mydomain.com<\/li>\n<li><em>Full Name<\/em> can be any descriptive reminder. For webmail this becomes the default sending name that can be overrode<\/li>\n<li>Under\u00a0<em>General Service Configuration<\/em> &gt;\u00a0<em>E-Mail<\/em>, click on\u00a0<strong>Advanced.\u00a0<\/strong>Deselect &#8220;<i>Create e-mail addresses named after user<\/i>&#8220;. Repeat the same process for info@myotherdomain.com, perhaps namespacing it as &#8220;<em>mod.info<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p><em>Namespacing<\/em>, discussed earlier, is assigning a short letter-sequence, typically an abbreviation, to a domain or group of users for easy recognition. All e-mail addresses under mydomain.com, namespaced as &#8220;<em>myd.<\/em>&#8220;, would appear grouped together under\u00a0<strong>Benutzer<\/strong> &gt;\u00a0<strong>Manage Users<\/strong>. Although not required, it does greatly simplify bulk user management.<\/p>\n<p>You can repeat this process for as many users and for as many domains as you&#8217;d like.
